Authorized Dealer Products List

Throughout my career, I commonly find dealers that try and represent too many products. I cannot do that. It creates a poor customer service experience. Each of the products listed mean something to me. This means I have a personal experience and expectation from each product line listed below. I believe that these products can improve your ability and efficiency to do your mission.

Hytera - I used to work for Hytera. Hytera builds products that lead the way in the DMR radio space. They bring amazing value with feature rich products and a first-class sales and support team. Hytera takes on Motorola head on. While it is a Chinese based company, Hytera is a global provider of radio products. Hytera fits commercial, educational, and industrial uses with ease!!!!!

Unication - Builds a leading-edge device that looks like a typical two-tone pager, but it really is more than that. Unication brings tremendous value for a feature rich device. Capable of Analog and P25I and P25II and dual band operation all for less than $1000.00. Unication sent me a sample device and had me hooked. These guys are second to none!

National 2 Way - OK, here is how you know you found a great product. First, these guys listen to the customer base and if they don't have one, they will build it. Each order comes with homemade cookies, so you know they are personally vested in your success. Warranties be damned, if the product fails you, they will make it right, no questions asked!
Magnetic Mic – If you have tried to unhook or hook your mobile radio microphone while busy driving the vehicle, then you already know what a pain in the ass it is. And then over time the stupid “hang up cup” (its official name) wears out and then the mic won’t even stay in the cup. This is the answer, simple solution, easy to install. – Done fighting that!
Zoleo – What is your professional or even personal plan to stay in contact with those important to you? No for real? Then ask yourself how easy is it to use? Zoleo offers an application that uses your phones’ current connection to send and receive messages. Wi-Fi works, then it uses that, LTE works, then it’ll use that, if it’s all down, it’ll use the Satellite network. Think the StarLink system will provide this for you? Just imagine our metro area all trying to use that tool. Just imagine 5.1 million people trying to send a text to their loved ones. Sounds great, but I feel like it will become saturated quickly during a event.
Amphenol Procom – The most important part of a radio is the antenna! Hands down!!! Amphenol Procom works to build the best-in-class antennas. I tripped into AP working on an amateur radio project and was blown away by the antenna’s performance and then surprised by how affordable it was. I haven’t looked back. The only downside……. They are a global company, and they do not produce anything in the US, so there are usually long lead times and additional costs.
Mission Critical Electronics – This one is an interesting story. Short version is I needed a vehicle based portable radio charger. Power Products to the rescue. Then I learned that MCE was the parent and I then gained access to the others. Kussmaul and I go back with Battery Chargers, and 12-volt power solutions. They continue to be the leader in emergency based electrical devices. Power Products builds quality and value aftermarket radio support devices that even the manufacturers don’t build. NewMar builds fist in class power solutions for your emergency communications systems and critical infrastructure. And finally, DuraComm, who hasn’t used one of their power supplies? Clean and quite DC power supplies are perfect for all your needs. If NewMar doesn’t have it, DuraComm does, and vice versa.
Primus - I've been in the business now long enough that I have outlasted some of my resellers. Over time my reslllers have either lowered their prices to compete with other resellers or have raised their price to reflect their overhead, or to increase their profit. In any of those cases it makes it almost impossible to order just parts for my customers. Primus has come to the rescue for all of us!!!!

On the road when picking up and returning your radio mic to its holder. It’s the easy-to-install alternative to a conventional, metal hang-up mic clip, consisting of a Magnetic Base for your dashboard or console, and a disc-shaped microphone adapter for the mic itself.

Helping Radio Users Stay Focused

The spark of insight that led to Magnetic Mic came from Knoxville, Tennessee Police Officer Bryan Schreiber. While serving as a driving safety instructor, he noticed his trainees—officers from Knoxville and surrounding departments—taking their eyes off the road for critical seconds when they picked up and hung up their police radio microphone.

Officer Schreiber had an idea, and developed a prototype of a new accessory, a magnetic holder for police radio microphones that replaced the conventional, metal hangup clip. While simple, the prototype solved the problem: The driver could stay focused on the road because he didn’t have to look down to hunt for and fumble with a conventional mic clip. He could simply move the police radio microphone close to the holder’s magnetic base piece, let it go, and it would snap into place.

Officer Schreiber and his cousin, Michael Tinter, a Cleveland, Ohio native, joined forces in 2010 to form Innovative Products, Incorporated. Together, they developed, tested and refined the simple but highly effective idea into “Magnetic Mic”; then began sharing it with the first responder community at the 2012 Fire Department Instructor Conference (FDIC). From that moment forward, response has been overwhelmingly positive.
